The big move + too much yarn ?!

Week 41

Hello, how are you?

Me, I am good!

It has been a big week moving, cleaning and organising the new house but we have done it! 🙌🏼

It never fails to amaze me at how big a job it is to move. As I did the packing & cleaning of the house on my own, I ended up injuring my arms and fingers. But it’s ok, not to the extent of the beginning of the year. I have laid off the crocheting and knitting this week. But I’m eager to get back into it.

I am convinced that I will become a minimalist. But I have a lot of sorting to go. 🫠

And this is just the stuff for my studio. Although my husband has been in my studio in the old house many of times he was amazed at how much yarn I had. And amazed not in a good way. Having to pack and unpack the delivery van he really was not happy. 🤭

I promised him that the next time we move that I will only have 4 baskets of yarn to move.

To make matters worse, as we arrived at our new home, a yarn order also arrived. ☺️

So if you would like to help me out by buying some kits it would be greatly appreciated! 🤣

So have we been out exploring this new beautiful area we now call home? Unfortunately no. The dog is having some trouble adjusting so we don’t like to leave her alone at the moment 😂 But fingers crossed she we start to feel more settled soon and we can start the adventure of exploring this new life. 😌
