This free crochet pattern includes both written instructions and an optional video tutorial

This flower scrubbie is a small, satisfying crochet project that brings a touch of sunshine into everyday life.
I designed this scrubbie to be quick to make, a quick gift giving project and perfect for using up your yarn stash.
Make a few of these flower scrubbies and tie them with string and pop them in a little bag ~ you have created the most thoughtful gift.
This pattern and tutorial is completely free ~ a little gift from me to you.
Skill level: confident beginner
Materials:
5 mm/Size G crochet hook
I have used a beautiful chunky cotton & acrylic blend 10ply yarn for the scrubbies. This will help retain the shape as the scrubbies are used and washed constantly. I have purchased this yummy yarn from Adelaide Hills Yarn Co

Sizing Measurement/Gauge:
You do not need to worry about the gauge for this pattern, the completed circle will be approximately; 9cm x 9cm (3.5 inches x 3.5 inches) A little bigger, or a little smaller? Doesn't matter :)

This pattern can be made as a simple circular scrubby, or extended into a granny square if you'd like to turn it into a blanket, bag, or other creative project.

Terms)
Stitches Used
• Magic circle
• Chain stitch (ch)
• Double crochet (dc)
• Half double crochet (hdc)
• Cluster stitch (cl)
• Bobble stitch (bo)
• Chain space (ch-sp)
Pattern
Round 1:Start with a magic circle (or ch 6 and join at the beginning of the circle).
Ch 4 (counts as 1 dc and ch-1), dc, ch 1 - repeat 15 times, sl st around to the beginning ch-4. Secure stitch and fasten off.
(16 dc, 16 ch-sp)
Round 2
With second colour, attach yarn to any ch-sp.
Ch 3, (cl, ch 1) in each ch-sp around, sl st around to beginning ch-3. Secure stitch and fasten off.
(16 clusters, 16 ch-sp)
Round 3
With third colour, attach yarn to any ch-sp.
Ch 3, (bo, ch 1) in each ch-sp around, sl st around to beginning ch-3. Secure stitch and fasten off.
(16 bobbles, 16 ch-sp)
Your flower scrubby is now complete!
Optional: Turn Your Scrubby Into a Granny Square
If you'd like to turn your sunflower scrubby into a sunflower granny square — perfect for blankets, bags, or tops — continue with Round 4 below.
Round 4
Attach fourth colour to any ch-sp. Ch3, 2 dc into same space,3 hdc in next ch-sp,3 dc, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch-sp (corner),
Repeat around:3 hdc, 3 dc, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in each corner.
Join with sl st to beginning ch-3.
Secure stitch, fasten off, and weave in ends.
Finished!
